Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; be full-time continuing undergraduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia; be undertaking an elective placement in a seriously disadvantaged Australian community or developing country; and be experiencing financial disadvantage. Selection is based on: academic merit; need; the proposed work program in the seriously disadvantaged community; and a written submission demonstrating how the bursary would assist with the budgeted cost of undertaking the elective.
