Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents, or international students; and hold, or expect to hold, a bachelor degree with first-class honours (or an equivalent qualification), from an Australian or overseas tertiary institution. Those who are intending to undertake or are currently enrolled in a research master degree, PhD or research professional doctorate are eligible to apply. Those who have been in receipt of another equivalent scholarship offering similar benefits; have already completed a PhD or research professional doctorate or equivalent (unless there is a significant change in research direction), have already completed a master degree or equivalent (unless intending to undertake a PhD or research professional doctorate), have previously held for more than 3 months a Monash Graduate Scholarship (unless in the case of a PhD or research professional doctorate candidate the prior award was for a master degree), or are enrolled or intending to enrol as a research candidate under Monash’s external mode regulations, are ineligible to apply.
