Any student who wants to take full time undergraduate program at University of York can have scholarship for their program. They provide Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarships, United world College Scholarship and International Entrance Scholarship. These opportunities only for international students. These scholarships are door opener for International Students.

Any undergraduate degree program which begins in the Fall 2016 term under the following faculties:

 

  • Arts,
  • Media,
  • Performance & Design;
  • Environmental Studies;
  • Education; Glendon;
  • Health;
  • Lassonde School of Engineering;
  • Liberal Arts & Professional Studies;
  • Science; or the Schulich School of Business

 

 

Benefits of the Scholarship:

 

  • Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: $68,000 ($17,000 x 4 years) (All included)
  • United World College Scholarship $112,000 ($28,000 x 4 years) (All included)
  • International Entrance Scholarships: $112,000 ($28,000 x 4 years) (All included)

Note: High academic benchmark have to maintain in each academic year to renew for three years of full-time undergraduate study.

 

Eligibility:

  • Study Permit to study in Canada is mandatory for International Student
  • Apply immediately after high school. Not more than two years after graduation and no previous admission in any university or college studies
  • Any undergraduate degree program which begins in the Fall 2016 term under the following faculties: Arts, Media, Performance & Design; Environmental Studies; Education; Glendon; Health; Lassonde School of Engineering; Liberal Arts & Professional Studies; Science; or the Schulich School of Business
  • Hold an excellent academic record (“A” average or equivalent) and have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports or other areas of individual achievement.

 

 

How to Apply:

 

  • Fill out the online International Student Scholarship Application
  • Submit all required documents to complete the York application by (e.g., expected grades, copies of transcript or GAP letters or language proficiency)
  • Specific to York’s United World College Scholarship: It is mandatory to register in United World College and also have to maintain a high academic standing.
  • Deadline: February 15th, 2016
