 Description:  The Wood family has established a Prescribed Private Foundation (PPF) with the purpose of funding scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, studying medicine or allied health at James Cook University.

 Annual Comment:  The scholarship is valued at between $5,000 and $25,000 per year for the duration of the degree.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; be commencing undergraduate or postgraduate studies within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences at JCU; and be enrolled to study full time. Selection is based on academic merit or potential.
