 Annual Comment:  Recipients will receive $1,000 paid after study period 2 census date in the year the grant is awarded. The grant must be used for the costs associated with travel and accommodation to and from Mawson Lakes to attend practical sessions and/or workshops during the academic year.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Degree in Engineering; be currently residing and studying in Whyalla and its surrounding areas; be enrolled in at least 1 course for each study period requiring travel to Mawson Lakes; be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage; and be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Selection will be based upon financial need. If there are more than 2 applicants who have demonstrated financial need, then academic merit (GPA or equivalent) will be considered.
