Description: The UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarships have been established in conjunction with the Fogarty Foundation to provide senior secondary students who show significant academic potential together with a strong sense of community involvement and responsibility, with an opportunity to undertake an undergraduate degree of their choice at the University of Western Australia.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have applied through TISC for a place at UWA, nominating a UWA course as their first preference; be enrolled in at least 5 WACE subjects (or equivalent) in a Western Australian secondary school or distance education; have their application for the scholarship endorsed by their school principal; be willing to commit to participating in a leadership and development program; normally reside in a regional area; and normally have completed the last 2 years of their secondary school education in a regional area (though in exceptional circumstances this condition may be waived).
