The University of Sydney provides scholarship every year to those students who have achieved academic excellence in the undergraduate and graduate courses and looking to complete Post-Graduate Research or Master’s by Research.
Scholarship Provider:
The University of Sydney International Research Scholarship (USydIS) is funded by the university funds. Even though the number of scholarships provided each year is unspecified, the main idea of this scholarship is to provide merit students around the world an opportunity to study and improve the research activities at the university.
Area of Study:
Postgraduate Research Degree or Master’s by Research program in all research disciplines. However, sometimes, the faculties might decide which is best for the applicant regarding choosing subject.
Benefits of this Scholarship:
Covers tuition fees up to 3 years
Provides living allowances up to 3 years
Possibility of one semester’s extension for PhD students.
Eligibility:

How to Apply:
Applicants need not to submit separate form for the scholarship.
While filling up the admission form they have to mention that they want to be considered for the scholarship.
There is a separate section in the application form for this purpose only. Students just need to fill it up.
Completed applications must be received by the Admissions Office by:
31 July of the previous year for Research Period 2 (March) commencement
15 December of the previous year for Research Period 3 (July) commencement
