The HP Women’s Scholarship Fund at University of the People

The HP or Hewlett-Packard Women’s Scholarship Fund unveiled at DLDWomen12, gives the opportunity of two year scholarships to 100 female students at University of the People (UoPeople) where they can pursue an Associate degree in a program of their choice. Students who received scholarships will also get monitoring support from HP employees. The mentors from HP not only provide invaluable guidance and support but also enrich their academic learning experience which ultimately prepares them for employment after graduation. The mentors are an integral part for the scholarship students who find immense support in the duration of the program.

Business Administration and Computer Science only.

 

Benefits of these Scholarships:

  • Tuition-free in the University of the People (UoPeople)
  • No charges in classes, using study materials and for annual enrollment
  • Students Under the scholarship program can apply in the HP Women’s Scholarship Fund if unable to bear the expenses of Exam Processing Fees.
  • HP employees as mentors to guide and support

 

Eligibility:

  • All high school female graduates who have sufficient knowledge in English language and also have internet access
  • Must be aged from 18 to 34
  • Need to submit academic transcripts as a proof of high school completion
  • The submitted transcripts and documents needed to be submitted being translated in English as well if it is from other language.
  • Candidates must meet all requirements and should go through all steps of application process
  • Aspiring candidates will also be eligible to receive financial assistance from HP Women’s Scholarship Fund following application process.
