Applicants must: be enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Nursing program at the Port Macquarie campus; be female; and be enrolled full-time.

Applicants must: be enrolled full-time in Greek or Latin subjects in any undergraduate year of study at the University of Newcastle; be Australian citizens or permanent residents; not have previously received this scholarship; and demonstrate an interest in and commitment to the subjects, as well as solid academic performance.
Applicants must: be enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Medicine program; be enrolled full-time; identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be recognised as such by their community; not hold another scholarship for the same program of equivalent or more substantial benefit; and be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Selection is based on academic merit.
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in the year immediately following graduation from high school. Selection of the scholars is on the basis of academic merit, as advised by secondary schools and colleges participating in the University of Newcastle Awards for Academic Excellence program. These are schools and colleges that qualify for the University of Newcastle's Regional and Rural Preference Scheme.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled full-time in an honours program; not hold another scholarship for the same program of equivalent or more substantial benefit, except for scholarships which pay the Student Contribution liability; and not have previously received this scholarship. Selection is based on academic merit.
