Mature Age Scholarship

Applicants must: be at least 21 years of age; be Australian citizens, permanent residents or holders of an Australian Humanitarian Visa; be commencing study as a first year undergraduate student at UOW; and have a demonstrated need such as financial and/or social disadvantage. Equity criteria include, but are not restricted to, low income family background, living in a rural or isolated region, having a permanent disability, recently migrated from a non-English speaking country, Indigenous Australians.

Learning and Development Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens, permanent residents or holders of a humanitarian visa; be enrolled full time in an undergraduate course at the University of Wollongong; and demonstrate financial and/or social disadvantage. Selection is based on academic merit. Equity groups include, but are not limited to, low income background, living in rural or isolated region, permanent disability, recent migration from a non-English speaking country, or Indigenous Australian citizenship.

Jack Goldring Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled full time in the final year of a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Wollongong; have a minimum credit average; have a minimum of 32 credit points to complete; and demonstrate contributions to law and social justice through voluntary activities, work experience or paid employment.
