Bachelor of Information Technology Cooperative Scholarship Program

The scholarship is intended primarily for local current school leavers. Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have achieved an ATAR of around 90 or above; have completed mathematics and any 2 units of English in high school; have good communication and interpersonal skills; and be involved in extra-curricular activities. Selection is based on an interview and the achieved ATAR.

Bachelor of Accounting Scholarship

 Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia; have received an offer into the UTS Bachelor of Accounting through UAC; and be commencing full-time enrolment in their first undergraduate degree in the following year. Selection is based on: academic merit (ATAR of 95 highly desirable but not essential); strong interest in an accounting-based career; involvement and achievement in a range of activities and interests; demonstrated leadership qualities; and personal attributes needed to succeed both as a student and in a business career such as communication skills, inter-personal skills, team-working skills, problem-solving skills, enthusiasm and dedication.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry)

 The awards are open to Australian or New Zealand citizens who hold an undergraduate degree with honours class I or IIA or equivalent, and are enrolled in a full-time postgraduate research degree. Applicants cannot: be receiving similar funding or stipend from a Commonwealth Government program; already have completed a degree at the same level or higher as the proposed candidature; and have previously held an Australian Postgraduate Award or APAI for more than 6 months.

Australian Postgraduate Award (APA)

  The awards are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents or New Zealand citizens, who hold a bachelor degree with honours class I or IIA or an equivalent qualification. Applicants cannot: previously have held an Australian Government Research Scholarship for more than six months; be in receipt of an equivalent award (greater than 75 per cent of the base stipend); or, have completed a degree at the same level or higher than that proposed.
