 Applicants must: be Australian citizens or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; be enrolled in their second or third year of the Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning; be undertaking 3 or more units each semester of their enrolment; have maintained a credit average; and attach a statement of approximately 500 words outlining their interest in financial planning, career goals and ambitions and how the scholarship will assist them.

Max Salthouse Leadership Scholarship for Women

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or holders of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa; be enrolled in their final year of Undergraduate study or first year of an Honours degree; be registered with the UC Inclusion & Welfare office and attach a copy of their adjustment letter; have a demonstrated need for financial assistance; and demonstrate strong academic achievement. Applicants must attach a statement of approximately 500 words addressing the following criteria: evidence of past or current leadership roles in school, community or sporting life; outline of what this scholarship will enable them to do that might not have been possible otherwise; and outline of what are the gender-based barriers they may face in their field of study or intended industry and their vision for addressing these. It is anticipated that the scholarship holder will be paired with a mentor in their chosen field of study.

Mary Davidson Scholarship for Refugee Students

 Applicants must: be considered a female refugee student; be enrolled full-time in their first or second year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Canberra; be able to demonstrate financial difficulties; attach a 250 word statement outlining how the financial assistance provided by the scholarship would contribute to the advancement of their education and career ambitions; and be available to meet with the selection committee to discuss their application further if requested. Selection will be based on financial need, the written statement and proof of humanitarian visa.

Manteena Scholarship for Leaders in Construction

 Applicants must: be enrolled as full time students in their first year of the Building and Construction Management undergraduate degree at the University of Canberra; not be working within the Building and Construction industry at the time of application; and attach a copy of their C.V and 2 referee reports. Applicants will be selected for interview on the basis of a written statement which outlines: their interest in the scholarship which includes demonstrating how the scholarship will assist them achieve results; what they hope to achieve within the industry and why; and relevant work experience or projects they may have undertaken.
