Vacation Research Experience Scholarship (VRES)
Applicants must be currently completing their second, third, or fourth year of study. International students must have a current student visa for the period of the research.

Applicants must: have a first class or 2A honours degree or equivalent in cell or molecular biology, bioengineering, biotechnology, tissue engineering, biochemistry, applied mathematics or medicine; or a relevant masters degree with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5 on a 7-point scale, and a significant research component.
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents; be from a regional or remote area in Queensland or the Northern Territory; come from a low-income background; be experiencing financial hardship; and be enrolled in, or applying for, an undergraduate course. Personal hardship may be taken into account, specifically personal medical conditions, disabilities, and dependants with special needs.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in the second year of a full time undergraduate single Business degree in the QUT Business School studying Marketing as the primary major.
Applicants must: be current undergraduate or postgraduate coursework students enrolled in an eligible course; have completed at least 96 credit points in an undergraduate degree, or at least 48 credit points in a postgraduate degree; have at least one semester full-time (or equivalent) still to complete on their return to QUT; have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.5 in the current course; and be able to pay travel and living expenses while on exchange.
