University of Newcastle Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme

 Scholarships are automatically awarded on the basis of academic merit. All commencing undergraduate students who completed the Higher School Certificate in the year prior to entering University, in a school within the area of the University's Regional and Rural Preference Scheme, who also received an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 95 or greater will be eligible for a scholarship.

University of Newcastle – Hunter Institute Pathways Scholarship

Applicants must: be graduates of certificate IV, diploma or advanced diploma courses of the Hunter Institute of TAFE NSW in the previous year; be enrolling in the first year of their first undergraduate degree; be enrolled full-time; be Australian citizens, permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; and not hold another scholarship selected on academic merit. Selection is based on academic merit.

Unifood Group Scholarship

Applicants must: be enrolled in any year of any undergraduate degree at the University of Newcastle; be enrolled full-time; not hold another scholarship; and not hold a previous degree.
