The scholarship is open to 2nd-year Bachelor of Fine Arts students undertaking sculpture and spatial practice studies. Recipients are nominated by a panel.
Awarded to a third year student who completes a major in a modern language taught at the School of Languages and Linguistics or the Asia Institute, who receives the highest aggregate mark of all third year students completing a major in the target language in that year.
Applicants must be enrolled in an honours program in modern languages within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne. Scholars must within 3 years of the award of the scholarship proceed to a foreign country of the language in which he or she holds the scholarship, and hold the scholarship for 6 to 12 months thereafter.
Applicants must be commencing study in the field of Agriculture, Animal Science and/or Food Science in an undergraduate degree in 2014.
