Applicants must: be female; be Australian citizens or permanent residents; normally reside in South Australia; and be undertaking a program of study in the Faculties of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Health Sciences or Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Applicants should be in the honours year (or final year of a Bachelor of Engineering) and undertaking study on a full-time basis. Wyndham Richardson Tertiary Student Care Trust Scholarship

 Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be undertaking a program of study on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported place; be able to demonstrate financial need; and be able to demonstrate that they normally reside outside metropolitan Adelaide or any other major Australian city, or in the Adelaide metropolitan area but studying and residing at locations remote from their normal place of abode and they are residing in a residential college affiliated with the University of Adelaide or in rental accommodation. In certain circumstances, other students who are able to demonstrate that they are disadvantaged and worthy of special consideration may be considered for this scholarship with the approval of the Chairman of the Trust, including applicants living at home. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need. Students in receipt of the Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (CAS) or Relocation Scholarship are not eligible to apply.

 Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Medicine students must have completed at least 1 full year of the MBBS, and law students must have completed at least 2 years of tertiary study, including a minimum of 8 points of law subjects. Applicants may reapply for scholarships in subsequent years. No preference will be granted to continuing students who have held a scholarship in the previous year.

University of Adelaide Special Circumstances Scholarship

The scholarship is open to students who do not meet the normal scholarship criteria for the APA and whose prior academic performance may have been seriously disadvantaged as a result of exceptional circumstances such as a disability, sickness or heavy care duties. Applications from Indigenous Australians are encouraged.
