MGSM Alumni Scholarship

 Applicants must: have a bachelor degree; gain acceptance to the MGSM MBA program; and be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Consideration will be given to: career achievements; personal achievements; goals and ambitions; community activities; expectations and perceived value of the program to their career; motivation and desire to achieve in a program; scholastic achievements; and leadership roles. Applicants may be required to attend an interview either in person or by telephone.

Mature Age / Non Current School Leaver Scholarship

 Applicants must: be mature-age or non-school leaver students commencing an undergraduate degree at Macquarie University; demonstrate financial need; intend to study full-time internally (unless approved in exceptional circumstances); and demonstrate capacity to triumph over hardship (e.g. financial disadvantage, sole parent or carer responsibilities, non-English speaking or Indigenous background, effects of trauma and/or abuse, long-term medical condition or disability, or coming from a rural or remote area). Consideration may be given to demonstrated community leadership and involvement. Applicants are required to submit a supporting statement.

Macquarie University Sport Scholarship

 Applicants must be commencing or continuing students enrolled in a course at Macquarie University. Continuing students must have maintained at least a 2.0 grade point average. Selection is based on sporting excellence. As a general rule, recipients of the scholarships are athletes competing at a national or state championship level who are recognised by the relevant national sporting body as elite or are members of a national development squad.

Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship (MQRES)

Macquarie University assesses applicants for scholarship based primarily on academic merit and research experience. A major prerequisite is eligibility for admission to a Higher Degree program at Macquarie University. Additional information such as competitively awarded prizes, scholarships or other awards, peer-reviewed publications, conference and poster presentations and relevant work or professional experience may also be taken into account. Interested candidates should discuss the availability of funded positions with their proposed supervisor before applying.

Macquarie University Refugee Scholarship

Applicants must: be enrolled in full-time internal study at Macquarie University (part-time enrolment may be accepted in exceptional circumstances); demonstrate financial need; have arrived in Australia with a Commonwealth humanitarian visa or be Australian citizens from a refugee background; demonstrate the capacity to triumph over hardship (e.g. financial disadvantage, sole parent or carer responsibilities, non-English speaking or Indigenous background, effects of trauma and/or abuse, long-term medical condition or disability, coming from rural or remote area); and not have previously undertaken university studies. Preference will be given to demonstrated community leadership and involvement. Applicants are required to submit a personal statement addressing the criteria.
