 Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, or holders of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; be enrolled in the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science; be enrolled full-time for the duration of the scholarship; and reside in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, or holders of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; be enrolled full-time in a VET course for the duration of the scholarship; and reside in the Northern Territory.

The scholarship is open to Australian and overseas postgraduate research students undertaking projects that fall within the university's research priority areas.
