Flinders University scholarship

Applicants must: be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and be accepted as such by the community in which they live or have lived; be currently completing, or have completed, an undergraduate degree at the university, or be currently completing, or have completed, 108 units of a 144 unit bachelor degree program; be commencing an honours program at Flinders University, or the fourth year of a 144 unit bachelor degree program; and be resident in South Australia. Selection is based on academic merit and a personal statement.

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled, or intending to enrol, as full-time students in an undergraduate course at Flinders University; be residing at University Hall or Deirdre Jordan Village for the duration of the academic year in which the award is made; and not be in receipt of any other scholarship. Selection is based on financial need and academic merit. Preference will be given to applicants who normally reside outside of the Adelaide metropolitan area and the metropolitan areas of other major Australian cities, or normally reside in the Adelaide metropolitan area but will be studying and residing at a location remote to their normal place of residence.

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; normally reside within the boundaries of the Wattle Range Council; have applied through SATAC for entry in the most recent admission period; have completed the requirements for the South Australian Certificate of Education; be commencing higher education study for the first time; and be able to demonstrate financial hardship.

 Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have completed the Flinders University Foundation Course in the year before the bursary is awarded; have applied for and been admitted to an undergraduate course of study at Flinders University; and belong to one of the equity groups targeted by the university. Selection is based on demonstrated financial need and academic potential as assessed by performance in the Foundation Course.

Applicants must: be permanent residents of rural Australia; normally reside outside of the Adelaide metropolitan area and the metropolitan areas of other major Australian cities; have lived in University Hall for a period not less than 1 semester; be full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Flinders University; and be residing at University Hall for the duration of the academic year in which the award is made. Selection is based on financial need and academic merit.
