Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents; be Western Australian year 12 school leavers; have nominated a course at ECU South West Campus as their first preference through TISC; achieve an ATAR of at least 90 or win the Beazley Medal; and demonstrate academic excellence and endeavour, leadership and a commitment to ECU's core values of integrity, respect, rational inquiry and personal excellence.
Applicants must: have completed a relevant undergraduate degree; have achieved a high level of academic success; be enrolled in an honours program within the Faculty of Business and Law; and not already hold an honours degree; and in receipt of any other scholarship (excluding the Churchlands Teacher's College Memorial Award).

Applicants must: be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; permanently reside in Western Australia; be experiencing financial hardship or low socio-economic status (usually demonstrated by being in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink allowance); be in the first year of study having successfully completed 60 credit points (one semester of study); and not be in receipt of any other scholarships with the exception of those in receipt of any Commonwealth Scholarships (CAS and/or CECS) or the Student Start Up or Relocation Scholarships through Centrelink.
