The SISS have been offered to talented students from some specific countries, which cover their tuition fees for Master’s programmes. The scholarships are for the Students willing to start from Autumn semester in Sweden.

Swedish Institute Study Scholarships offer:

  • This scholarship provides a full support to the scholarship holder from the countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients by covering their tuition fees, SEK 9,000 per month as living expenses, insurance, and a one-time travel allowance of SEK 15,000. No extra support or fund will be given to family members.
  • The scholarship will be provided for the whole one or two years of master’s programme.

Eligibility:

Students must qualify the criteria below:

  • Must be from the list of the countries in the DAC list.
  • Must have experience of at least 3,000 hours of full-time or part-time work, paid or unpaid internship, volunteer work.
  • Must show qualifications in both academic and leadership fields.
  • Must be enthusiastic to work for his or her community’s sustainable development.

How to Apply:

The application process is discussed below:

  • The application will be opened for the first step from 1st
  • Must complete the application for master’s programme through universityadmissions.se (an online application service) before 16th January to be considered for a scholarship.
  • The university application fee must be paid 1st February to get in to the second step.
  • This scholarship application has two steps. The first step is open from 1st December to 16th January, which is an online application process. The candidates who would make it to the next step would be notified by late January.
  • Afterwards, a detailed application must be submitted by the selected candidates within 1st February to 10th February for the second step.
