 Description:  The Sue Beeton Indigenous Teaching Scholarships have been established by Dr Sue Beeton, an Associate Professor in Tourism at the La Trobe Business School. Dr Beeton is funding the Indigenous Teaching Scholarships to contribute to better educational outcomes for Indigenous children and the belief that this is most likely to occur from positive educational experiences at the primary level.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; have completed an undergraduate degree and be eligible to enrol in Master of Teaching; and have a preference to teach in a Primary school setting. Preference may be given to: students who currently reside in, or have family connection to, Victoria or within 100 km of Victorian borders; or to students with a desire to teach in Victoria or within 100 kms of Victorian borders.
