Research Scholarships

The Institute of Advanced Studies Kszeg (iASK) is offering 4-month research scholarships to participate in the work of a research institute while pursuing a graduate degree. This call is open to students that are currently enrolled at the University of Pannonia K?szeg Campus as well as to future applicants.

The Higher Institute for Advanced Studies (iASK-FTI) is working closely with the University of Pannonia Koszeg campus and lecturers, researchers supported by high-quality work of the new campus.

Their goal is to provide a unique form of training for the students, which also offers outstanding quality in the international academic arena.

  • Scholarships are available for pursuing research programme.
  • iASK welcomes applications in two interdisciplinary fields:
  • Cultural Heritage Mangement And Sustainable Development with a focus on creative regions, historic cities, tourism, connecting the world of industry, commerce, and governance with education and science.
  • International Studies with a focus on globalisation and regional development, economic, environmental and social sustainability, global political economy and the impact of new information technologies.

It is strongly encouraged to relate topics to Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans in a global context.

Amount of Scholarship:

Scholarships provide 1200 Eur / semester tuition waiver + an additional 75000 HUF / month scholarship for the period of September – December 2017. Scholarships are renewable for subsequent semesters upon academic excellence.

The call is open to students that are currently enrolled at the University of Pannonia K?szeg Campus as well as to future applicants.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Students with a BA in the Humanities or Social Sciences

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Advanced – level English competence  (TOEFL 79-80 iBT/213 CBT 550 PBT pts, Cambridge ProfiencyLanguageExam, IELTS min. 6.0 pts.orequivalent)

 All applicants submit application packages to their chosen graduate program. Applications are also accepted for the fall semester of .

 All applicants are to send a personal research proposal with bibliography (2000 words) in English by June 15.
