 Description:  Funds have been bequeathed to the University by the late Sir Eric Smart, and supplemented by a gift from his son, Mr Peter Smart, to establish the Sir Eric Smart Fund for the purpose of funding scientific research into agriculture in the coastal area between Perth and Geraldton, especially between Badgingarra and Binnu.
