 Description:  The Richard Brookdale Scholarship was established in memory of Richard Brookdale, a friend, keen fieldworker and supporter of archaeology in the communities of the Gulf of Carpentaria for many years, who passed away in 2013. The purpose of the scholarship is to support a student accepted into honours with an Australian Indigenous archaeology honours topic on the Cairns campus of James Cook University.

 Other Details:  Students are not able to apply for this scholarship. Nominations will be provided to the Selection Committee by staff of the Department of Anthropology, Archaeology and Sociology. The selection committee will consider all students who meet the eligibility criteria.
