 Description:  Dr Harold McComb attended Queen’s from 1945-47 while studying medicine. He subsequently became a distinguished plastic surgeon in Perth. His wife, Dr Athel Hockey, was a non-resident medical student at Queen’s from 1944-47. She also pursued a medical career in West Australia, first as a paediatrician and later as head of the Genetics Department at the University of West Australia.
