 Description:  The NSW Food Authority (Food Regulation Partnership) Scholarship in Environmental Health seeks to promote food surveillance careers and help to address the Environmental Health Officer workforce shortage. The Scholarship hopes to facilitate communication between enforcement agencies, tertiary institutions and the Authority and to ensure the provision of appropriate undergraduate training and network opportunities for students embarking on a career in environmental health.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be currently enrolled at UWS in either Bachelor of Natural Science (Environment and Health) and completing the unit Field Practice 1 and 2 or in Bachelor of Science (Honours); demonstrate an interest in the Environmental Health Officer career path; be willing to undertake a food safety-based project in the year in which they receive the scholarship; and have achieved a high standard of academic performance in their university studies to date.
