 Description:  The Nellie Thomas Bursary was founded in 2008 in memory of Nellie Bertha (McDowell) Baker and Thomas McDowell. The aim of the scholarship is to assist an Indigenous student in the field of medicine or health. The scholarship will financially assist applicants on low incomes with the additional cost associated with university study.
