MTN Solution Space Scholarships for Africans

The Solution Space Scholarships were created to raise new generation leaders that move beyond “business as usual” to predict, develop and experiment new models which will shape the future. The scholarships were introduced to support the emerging African mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs who are dedicated to local innovation and for whom a postgraduate degree is crucial for the future of this region.

Area of study:

MBA and MPhil in comprehensive Innovation programs at the UCT GSB. Scholarships will be offered to those who are passionate about Education, Health and Wellbeing, Smart Cities, and Open Imagination for the academic year 2016-2017.

Benefits of the Scholarship :

  • MTN Scholarship is awarded for one to two years.
  • The Scholarship covers full tuition fee and registration fees.
  • Travel allowance will be provided.

Eligibility:

To be considered for a MTN Scholarship you must:

  1. Candidates have to be from South Africa or African countries or living there for at least 1 full year.
  2. Should have IELTS score of 7 or more.
  3. Candidates have to apply to attain either the MBA or the MPhil in comprehensive Innovation program at the UCT GSB. Applicants will only be able to avail the MTN Scholarship if they are successfully admitted to the UCT GSB program.
  4. Then candidates should check the Financial Need Criteria in the website.

Application instructions:

  • At first, interested candidates should have to apply for the business school as without doing so, it’s not possible to apply for MTN Scholarship.
  • Then candidates have to go through the website to know details about the program & eligibility criteria, then they have to fill up the required information by downloading the form from our website.
  • Then they have to submit the filled up form with their UCT application number received from the GSB Admissions Office, contact details & CV .
