Leadership and Advocacy Fellowship Program for Women in Africa

Description: LAWA Fellowship Program aims to train women’s human rights lawyers from Africa at Georgetown University Law Center.  It is also known as Georgetown Law. It is the law School of Georgetown University, located in Washington, D.C. It is the second largest LAW school in the USA. 50 applicants will be awarded the scholarship by the institution for studying LAW here.

 Area of Study:  Masters of law focusing on human rights of international women.

Benefits of this Scholarship:

 

  • Tuition fees for the Foundations of American Law and Legal Education Course U.S. $2,200 benefit will be provided.
  • For the LL.M. degree and professional development training U.S. $42,065 benefit Will be provided.

** Applicants must be able to full fill the other expenses such as visa, travel, housing, food, books etc. Approximately U.S $25,000 will need to cover all these expenses.
