 Description:  The scholarship was established in 2001 in memory of Koiki Eddie Mabo by Roger Riordan, Director of the computer virus detection company, Cybec Pty Ltd. The aim is to provide a scholarship fund that can be used for the purpose of assisting any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, who are studying in the Faculty of Health and Medicine at the University of Newcastle.
