Scholarship Name: Judith Liauw Memorial Scholarship in Pharmacy
Description: Judith Liauw lived and worked in the north-west of Tasmania but was at the forefront of modern community pharmacy in Australia. She was a committed professional who made an enduring contribution to pharmacy and the broader health system nationally. Until just before her death in July 2010 she was Branch President of the Pharmacy Guild of Tasmania and a National Councillor of the Australian Pharmacy Guild. Judith was a strong supporter of the UTAS School of Pharmacy and the student placement program and regularly hosted third and fourth year students for their rural placements in her Ulverstone pharmacy.
