 Description:  The late Jessie Stobo Watson Webb, senior lecturer in the School of History, created a fund to enable the university ‘to send a student to spend a season in Greece under the direction of the British School of Archaeology at Athens or any other similar school’.

The recipient is required as a condition of the award to spend a season (3-6 months) in Greece under the direction of the British School of Archaeology at Athens or any other similar school in Greece. Selection is based on academic merit and proposed program of study in Greece. Both local and international students are eligible to apply.
