The Government of Israel is delighted to offer scholarships to foreign students who are agreed in the Cultural Agreements between Israel and the recipient countries.
Israeli government offers different types of scholarships: (1) Summer language courses (Ulpan) and (2) One academic year, or Research scholarships. Candidates who apply for a post doctorate program and to research students will get the first priority. Second priority will be given to PhD Students and to MA students and candidates for overseas programs will be selected for third priority.
Scholarship Provider:
Scholarships will be granted only in universities and programs and Scholarships for Ulpan language studies will be granted in the Ulpan In both cases ministry approval is must.

Benefits of this Study:
- The scholarship could be partial and in a few cases it would be full.
- Health insurance and tuition fees or a monthly allowance for one academic year (8 months only) will be included in Partial scholarship.
- Tuition fees, a monthly allowance and basic health insurance are in Full scholarship.
- Other things like accommodation, transportation and travel arrangements to and from Israel are the candidate’s accountability.
Eligibility:
- Only citizens of the following countries are eligible to apply: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada (Quebec Province), China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Mexico, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey
- Holding a BA or BSc degree (or higher) and have a good record of academic achievement candidate may apply for the scholarship
- Must be a citizen of the country where he/she applies for the scholarship
- Age must be under 35.
- Evidence of English or Hebrew language knowledge.
- Should meet the academic requirements of the Israeli University where he/she applies to.
- Approval will be met only after the required institute agrees the acceptance of the applicant.
How to apply:

- Collect application form and should be sent the form to the Israeli embassy in the applicant country.
- Submission deadline is different in each country but generally the deadline would be up to 30 November in each year.
- Candidates are requested to know detailed information about the process of the selecting candidates for scholarship from their local embassy and to verify the application submitting date.
- Within May in each year final decision of the granting a scholarship will be made.
