 Description:  The scholarships provide eligible Indigenous commencing students with a once-only payment to assist with the expenses associated with relocation from a remote or rural area and higher education study.

 Annual Comment:  The scholarship provides a one-off payment of $4,823 (2015 rate) to assist with costs of relocation and essential study equipment. Recipients will also be awarded an Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship, and, where applicable, an Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be Indigenous Australians of low socio-economic status; be enrolled or will be enrolling at Murdoch University full-time in an undergraduate course or K-Track or OnTrack or a Graduate Diploma of Education as a Commonwealth Supported student; and be studying for their first higher level award or degree (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course).

 Other Details:  Applicants will be given priority if they are from a rural or regional area.
