These countries include Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Macedonia (FYROM), Georgia, Ghana, India, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Mali, Moldova, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Syria, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, West Bank and Gaza.
- This scholarship offers a hefty 8,000 SEK a month.
- The scholarship is provided for 1 year but if you maintain a satisfactory result then the scholarship maybe extended for a second year.
- Students also get a lump sum amount for their travel expenses.
- Candidates may avail from 5,000 to 10,000 SEK for travel expenses
- There is even insurance for any accidents and illnesses
Eligibility:
- Note that there are no age limits to the scholarship requirements
- Any students living in the mentioned country are eligible to apply
Things that may invalid your chances of eligibility
- From the date the scholarship is due to begin you have been living in Sweden from that date for 2 years already
- If you have a Swedish work permit or a Swedish permanent residence
- You have already attained a scholarship in any Swedish university
- But if you only attended a summer course in a Swedish institute you are more than welcome to apply
How to Apply:
- Students may apply in any date between 1st December till January the 15th every year.
- They must visit the website at http://www.studera.nu/english
- You must have an offer letter from a Swedish university to study Masters in order to apply
- First you must find your program
- Check all the entry requirements and deadlines
- Make an account and apply in universityadmissions.se
- Proof that you can speak English and are eligible for the program
- Finally wait to receive the notification
- When you receive the notification apply as soon as possible for residence permit.
