Guest Scholarship Programme for Post-Doctoral Research in Sweden.

Description: The scholarship addresses the issue capacity building and fighting against poverty.  The main aim of this Programe is to develop the condition of the relevant research in Programe countries. The candidates completed their PHD afterwards 2008 will be given privileges to conduct research and other opportunities in Sweden under this scholarship.

Scholarship Provider: Accredited academic institutions and universities in Sweden

Area of Study: The following disciplines students are the eligible for the scholarship:

  1. Agricultural Sciences.
  2. Natural Sciences.
  4. Environmental Science in relation with Agricultural Sciences or Technology or Natural Science.

The most important thing is from now-a-days the scholarship will be open for below disciplines:

  • Business and Social Sciences
  • Environmental Science in relation with Social Sciences
  • Health and Medicine

Benefit of the Scholarship: The benefits of the scholarship are below mentioned:

  1. The candidate will be entitled with SEK 2, 16, 000 per year.
  2. The scholarship will be given through the course timeline.
  3. The scholarship will cover one travel grant of SEK 15, 000 along with Insurance.
  4. The scholarship is designed to cover the living expenses of scholarship holder.

Eligibility: The eligibility of the applicant should have-

  1. Citizen of Zambia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Mali, Tanzania, Mozambique.
  2. The scholarship is intended to the candidates who have done their PHD under above disciplines.
  3. The person who have lived in Sweden for two or more years or have Swedish permanent residence permit will not be able to apply for the scholarship.
  4. The most important thing is the person who has previously awarded any scholarship from SI at a Swedish University will not be given priority.

How to Apply: In every year the deadline for the application lies on February. The process of application is mentioned below:

  1. Download the form from the website.
  2. Fill the form with proper documents.
  3. Mail all of the relevant documents to the authority.
  4. Confirmation mail will be got if all of the documents are properly submitted.
