 Description:  The GSM Scholarship for Indigenous Students will act as a pivotal tool for the retention of Indigenous Students at the UOW Graduate School of Medicine in their pursuit of a career as a medical practitioner.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be Indigenous Australians; be enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Wollongong; be enrolled in Phase 1 in Autumn 2014 of a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Wollongong; demonstrate active involvement within their local community; have demonstrated financial need; and not be in receipt of any scholarship/bursary/grant worth more than $6,000 from any other source.
