Ghent University is one of the top 100 universities in Belgium who provides Master Grants to exceptional candidates from developing countries who wants to obtain a master’s degree at Ghent University. The scholarship is awarded for the duration of a year.

Master’s degree in Nuclear Fusion and Engineering Physics, Photonics, Agro- and Environmental Nematology, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Technology and Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Marine Biodiversity and Conservation, Rural Development, Aquaculture, Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Bioinformatics , Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Environmental Sanitation, Food Technology, Geology, Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management, Nutrition and Rural Development (Human Nutrition, Rural Economics and Management and Tropical Agriculture), Physical Land Resources (Land Resources Engineering, Soil Science), Sustainable Materials Engineering, Textile Engineering, Business Engineering (Data Analytics, Finance and Operations management).

 

Benefits of this Scholarship:

  • Candidates will receive a monthly allowance of €1000.
  • Candidates will receive a singular installation fee of €500 to cover all kinds of general expenses incurred by the student
  • The scholarship will pay for candidate’s health, civil liability and repatriation Insurances
  • The tuition fees of the candidates will be reimbursed at the end of every year with a maximum of €105
  • Please note that the Air ticket and visa costs are not a part of the scholarship.

 

 

Eligibility:

 

  • The applicant must already be in the first year of their master’s programmes at Ghent University.

·         The applicant must have a bachelor degree at the time of submitting the application.

·         The applicant must be a citizen of one of the countries in this list: LIST OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
