Amherst College has been educating students since 1821 in the heart of the pioneer valley. Then they started their slogan Terras Irradient (“Let them enlighten the lands”). From the beginning, the college enrolled the students who were not able to get higher education from 49 states including Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and 54 countries. Now they have more than 2200 graduates. The president of the college is Biddy Martin. The main fields of study in the college are arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.

How to Apply:
- Fill out theFinancial Aid PROFILE form and submit it to the College Scholarship Service (CSS) of the College Board
- Include the CSS PROFILE covering your family’s financial information in the currency of your home country
- Submit copies of your and your parents’ most recent income tax return(s) and/or other documentation of income directly to the Office of Financial Aid or by e-mail to finaid@amherst.edu
