Students must demonstrate financial need. .Student regardless whether they are can apply for scholarship if they are eligible. International students receiving financial aid from Emory / Oxford must plan to contribute funding towards their educational expenses.
Area of Study
The Need-based Financial aid is only applicable for undergraduate program (Allied health, Business, Nursing) graduate program (Art and sciences, Business, Allied Health, and Nursing), Public health, medicine, theology, law, Oxford College, and Emory college students. Emory University provides three types of financial aid –Grant, Work study and Lower interest loan.
Scholarship Benefits
- A grant is gift assistance that does not have to be repaid.
- A work-study award must be earned on an hourly basis and you get paid twice monthly.
- Low-interest loans must be repaid after you are no longer enrolled at least half-time at a postsecondary institution.
- The need-based package is $42,27 per year for Emory College students and $36,702 per year for Oxford College students
- The Applicant may receive a standard financial aid award including federal or state aid, institutional loans or grants and work-study.
Eligibility:
A student can apply Through Common Application or the Coalition Application. Apart from that others requirement for the admission are-
- A $75 application fee or application fee waiver
- High school and College transcript (officially)
- TOEFL score 100 (Internet based) and IELTS score should 7.5
- Secondary School Counselor’s recommendation and two teacher letters of recommendation
- must apply by the Emory University Scholar Programs deadline and select an admission plan of Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision for Scholarship
