DAAD Scholarship in Germany


The DAAD Masters Scholarships offers young graduates without professional experience and mid-career professionals from developing countries (see the list of eligible countries) the opportunity to pursue Master’s degree in Germany. This scholarship specially focuses on the relevance of social, economic & political development of the candidates’ home country at various German institutions of higher education.

Scholarship Provider:

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the scholarship provider. Eight German Institutions of higher education with courses are listed for DAAD Scholarship –

Area of Study:

This scholarship will be provided for Masters of Arts Program on Public Policy & Good Governance Courses. German Institutions for Higher education have offered different courses available at Universities. Courses are listed below along with their institutions/university links-

  • Must be from eligible country
  • first university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) during the six years

How to Apply:

Candidates need to apply to the selected program of the host university/institution first. Then they are also required to fill up the DAAD application form which includes the preference of desired courses.

Deadline: The application period at all 8 universities vary ranging from 1 June – 31 July each year.
