Description: The Chris Lewis Scholarship is for an Indigenous Australian student who can demonstrate a commitment to the Indigenous community and demonstrate academic potential. Chris Lewis has been an inspiration to both young and mature people with his courage in adversity, wonderful sporting skills and community service with young Indigenous people. He espouses great family values and has worked for the betterment of life in the community. In 2000, Chris Lewis received the John Curtin medal for his role as an Indigenous leader and his community work.
