William T Southcott Scholarship

The scholarship is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia or international students. Australian citizens or permanent residents will normally be eligible for a tuition scholarship under the Research Training Scheme. International candidates should also apply for the UniSA President's Scholarship. Applicants must be undertaking full-time PhD studies in the field of advanced manufacturing engineering or related disciplines within Australia. Part-time study will only be approved in exceptional circumstances.

Whyalla City Council Engineering Grant

Applicants must: be enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Degree in Engineering; be currently residing and studying in Whyalla and its surrounding areas; be enrolled in at least 1 course for each study period requiring travel to Mawson Lakes; be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage; and be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Selection will be based upon financial need. If there are more than 2 applicants who have demonstrated financial need, then academic merit (GPA or equivalent) will be considered.

Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships in Advanced Materials

 Domestic applicants must: be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents; be school leavers with an ATAR of 90 or above (exclusive of bonus points); and be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Science (Advanced Materials). International applicants must: have an International Baccalaureate (best of 6) score of at least 33, or have an Australian Year 12 program ATAR of at least 90, or have completed a Polytechnic Diploma in Materials Science or equivalent with a minimum credit average; and be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Science (Advanced Materials). The scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other scholarship within the division.
