Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in the second or third year of the Bachelor of Science program; and be undertaking a chemistry major.

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Surveying or a combined degree including Bachelor of Surveying; be enrolled full-time; and not have previously received this scholarship. Selection is based on academic merit and personal statement.
Applicants must: be Indigenous Australian citizens of low socio-economic status; be commencing or undertaking a tertiary preparation program, associate degree, or undergraduate program as full-time Commonwealth supported students; and have not previously completed a bachelor degree or equivalent (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course). Tenure is dependent on satisfactory progress.
