Indigenous Access Scholarship (IAS)

The scholarship is open to commencing Indigenous Australians of low socio-economic status who are enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor course of study as full-time Commonwealth-supported students. Applicants will be given priority if they are from a rural or regional area and have not previously completed a bachelor degree or equivalent (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course). Applicants cannot previously have received this scholarship from any tertiary institution.

Advanced Polymeric Materials Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have a first class honours or 2A honours, or a Master degree, in polymer/materials, science or engineering or chemistry from a reputable institution; or evidence of ability to generate high quality research outcomes (e.g. published papers); display excellent interpersonal, communication and written presentation skills; be able to commence full time research in 2015; and enrol in a postgraduate research (PhD) degree within the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
