WSM Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be intending to enrol, or be currently enrolled in the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree at any Murdoch campus; live within the Town of Kwinana (postcodes 6165, 6167, 6170); and be in personal or financial hardship.

Vet Alumni Fourth Year Scholarship

Applicants must: be enrolled at Murdoch University at the date of application; have successfully completed the first and second year of the Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Biology), having achieved passing scores in all third-year units to date; and provide a personal statement of their goals, outlining any circumstances of personal and/or financial hardship.

Thyne Reid Ecocean Scholarship

 Applicants must: be Australian citizens; be eligible to enrol full time in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in the School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology; be intending to conduct research into whale shark conservation and have a record of high achievement in previous study and/or in professional work.

School of Chiropractic and Sports Science Summer Scholarship

Applicants must: be intending to undertake Honours; be enrolled in an undergraduate course in the School of Chiropractic and Sports Science and have completed at least two years; be not a previous recipient of a Summer Scholarship; and have an agreement with a supervisor, or selected a research project for the summer from the list of potential projects. Selection is based on the students’ academic record and the merit of the proposal.

RSTC Gordon Smith Memorial Scholarship

 Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be residents of Rockingham or Kwinana; be enrolled in the OnTrack program; be intending to enrol at Murdoch in an undergraduate course of study; have experienced significant disruption to their education; and have been out of full-time employment for 6 out of the last 12 months.

Rose and Stan de Pierres Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolling full-time in the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Energy Management or Renewable Energy Engineering; be able to show high achievement in previous study or professional work; and have achieved an ATAR of 90 or more. Preference will be given to students who have had to relocate from a regional or remote area and/or intend to undertake a double degree in Sustainable Energy Management and Renewable Energy Engineering.

Ritchie ChemCentre Scholarship in Chemistry

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled at Murdoch University full time in a chemistry major at second or third year level; be able to undertake vacation work at ChemCare; and demonstrate a history of consistent satisfactory academic achievement.

Ragdoll Scholarship

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled or intending to enrol full time in their 1st year of any course in either the School of Management and Governance, Engineering and Information Technology or Health Professions; be able demonstrate a strong interest in chosen field of study and be experiencing personal or financial hardship.

Professor S T Leong Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies, Bachelor of Asian Studies (at either undergraduate or honours level), the Graduate Certificate in Asian Languages or a postgraduate degree that requires travel to Asia for study of an Asian topic. Selection will be based on submitted academic transcript, satisfactory written references from individuals suitable to comment and personal statement.
