Scholarship in Macquarie University

Applicants must be early career teachers in their first 5 years of teaching who wish to undertake postgraduate study in education and meet the admission requirements for one of the following courses: the Postgraduate Certificate in Education Studies; the Postgraduate Diploma in Education Studies; and the Master of Education. Selection is based on academic merit and support from a senior executive member of the applicant's school or institution (including an assessment of the applicant's current strength and potential as a teacher, and how the program would benefit the applicant). Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview.

The fellowship is open to Macquarie University Ancient History postgraduates, or to recent Ancient History postdoctoral scholars based at Macquarie University and within 5 years of submission of their thesis.

 Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and gain acceptance to the MGSM Postgraduate Diploma in Management program. Consideration will be given to: career achievements; personal achievements, goals and ambitions; community activities; expectations and perceived value of the program to their career; motivation and desire to achieve in a program; scholastic achievements; and leadership roles. Applicants may be required to attend an interview either in person or by telephone.

 The scholarship is open to students studying mathematics at Macquarie University, and is awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Preference will be given to female students.

This scholarship is available to students enrolling in a Bachelor degree with a Major in either Biomolecular Sciences or Chemistry.
