The bursaries are available to students enrolling in an honours year with an Australian Rivers Institute team member as supervisor. Students will be expected to have completed an undergraduate degree in hydrology, geomorphology, ecology, chemistry or water resource management.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens; hold an undergraduate degree with honours class I or IIA or equivalent; and be enrolled in a full-time postgraduate research degree. Applicants cannot: be receiving similar funding or stipend from a Commonwealth Government program; already have completed a degree at the same level or higher as the proposed candidature; or have previously held an Australian Postgraduate Award or APAI for more than 6 months.
The awards are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents or New Zealand citizens, who hold a bachelor degree with first class honours or an equivalent qualification. Applicants cannot: previously have held an Australian Government Research Scholarship for more than 6 months; be in receipt of an equivalent award (greater than 75 per cent of the base stipend); or have completed a degree at the same level or higher than that proposed.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens; be current full-time students undertaking an undergraduate Griffith aviation program; demonstrate leadership potential; demonstrate practical competencies gained through practical experience; demonstrate past academic merit; and demonstrate financial need.
Applicants must: identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders; be full time undergraduate students enrolled in the first year of a nursing or midwifery program at Griffith University; or be second and third year students with a GPA of 4 and above; and be able to demonstrate commitment to volunteering in their local community.
