Westpac Bicentennial Foundation Young Technologists Scholarships

  Applicants must: be current year 12 school leavers; not be in receipt of any other scholarship; and be enrolled or intending to enrol and study at ECU in semester 1in a full time study load (60 credit points) in a technology-related undergraduate Bachelor degree. Courses of study include: Bachelor of Computer Science; Bachelor of Information Technology; Bachelor of Technology (Engineering); Bachelor of Technology (Electronic and Computer Systems); Bachelor of Technology (Motorsports); Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems)/Bachelor of Computer Science; Bachelor of Science (Cyber Security).

WA Women’s Society of Fine Arts and Crafts Travel & Exhibition Scholarship

Applicants must: be female students; be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in an eligible course in either the 2nd year of a bachelor degree or the 1st year of a master degree; enrolled in full-time units; and not be in receipt of any other major scholarship. Eligible courses are: Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts or Fashion Textiles major); Master of Arts (Visual Arts); or Master of Communications (By Research).

Applicants must: be female students; be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in an eligible course in either the 2nd year of a bachelor degree or the 1st year of a master degree; be enrolled full-time; and not be in receipt of any other major scholarship. Eligible courses are: Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts or Fashion Textiles major); Master of Arts (Visual Arts); or Master of Communications (By Research).

Perth Airport Indigenous Scholarship

The scholarship is open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students undertaking the first year of study in any advanced diploma (3 year course only) or any undergraduate bachelor degree at ECU. Selection is based on demonstration of prior academic success, application of skills in the Noongar community and personal and educational goals. Successful recipients will have the opportunity to receive mentoring from Nyoongar Elders.

Paulette Carson Scholarship

Applicants must have completed the Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) at WAAPA and be articulating into the Bachelor of Performing Arts.

Nedlands Secondary Teachers College Memorial Award

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be secondary teachers, teaching within Western Australia; be commencing the 1st year of the Master of Education, or have completed no more than 2 units of the Master of Education.

Mount Lawley Teachers College Memorial Award

 The award is open to full-time and part-time Bachelor of Science: Environmental Management (Honours) and Bachelor of Science: Biological Sciences (Honours) students. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Selection is based on academic merit and the purpose, nature and significance of the proposed research area.

Lesley Lillian Graham Award

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled full-time in an eligible course; and demonstrate successful achievement in prior studies. Eligible courses are: Bachelor of Arts (Education)/Bachelor of Arts (English major); or Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) with curriculum study major in English education. Selection is based on academic merit, teaching ability and a personal statement.

Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship (ICECS)

 Applicants must: be Indigenous Australian citizens of low socio-economic status; be undertaking a tertiary preparation program, undergraduate program or selected postgraduate programs in areas of National Priority as full-time Commonwealth supported students; and have not previously completed a bachelor degree or equivalent (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course). Tenure is dependent on satisfactory progress.

Tenure is dependent on satisfactory progress.

Hillarys Rotary Club Marine Science Award

Applicants must: be Australian citizens; be residents of Western Australia; be undertaking a Master by Coursework or Higher Degree by Research; and have previously studied in a marine science or similar field related to the Western Australian marine eco system.

Edith Cowan University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (ECUPRS)

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens; be applying to undertake, or be currently undertaking, a postgraduate research degree; be enrolling in full-time study in an eligible course; and hold a bachelor degree with honours class I or IIA or equivalent. Applications for the ECUPRS are the same as for the APA scholarship. Selection for a postgraduate research scholarship is based on academic merit and research capability within the university’s research strengths.
